DAY 1 | MYANMAR | ARRIVAL IN YANGON | LUNCH ; DINNER

 

You will arrive at Yangon International Airport, and be welcomed by our local tour guide. After check-in at the hotel and a moment to relax, you will enjoy a city tour of Yangon. You will first visit Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda, a colossal reclining Buddha. Then, you will make a stop to Karaweik Hall Royal barge on the Royal lake, very impressive witness of Burmese culture, before reaching Yangon’s city center. You will discover the contrast between colonial building and pagodas as Sule Pagoda before driving in downtown to visit China Town with a very typical fruit market. Before going back to the hotel, you couldn’t miss the world famous Shwedagon Pagoda for wonderful photo at sunset.

DAY 2 | MYANMAR |       BAGAN EXPLORATION | BREAKFAST ; LUNCH ; DINNER

 

After an early breakfast, you will take a short flight to Bagan. Upon arrival you will start your exploration of Bagan by the colorful Nyaung U Market, then the magnificent golden stupa of Shwezigon Pagoda, and Htilominlo Temple noted for its fine plaster carvings and glazed sand stone decoration. After that, you will continue your journey to Gubyaukgyi Temple, with superb mural paintings of jataka scenes. You will also visit Myinkaba Village and observe the process of traditional Lacquer ware industry, one of Myanmar’s best-known handicrafts. In the afternoon, you will enjoy Ananda Temple, an architectural masterpiece of the early-style temple with four impressive standing Buddha images, Thabinnyu Temple, the highest temple in Bagan and Dhammayangyi Temple noted for its remarkable brickwork. A last effort to reach the Shwesandaw Pagoda upper terrace to catch the famous photo shot of Bagan plains at sunset.

DAY 3 | MYANMAR |       FREE DAY IN MANDALAY | BREAKFAST 


After an early breakfast, you will fly to Mandalay. You will check-in your hotel before enjoy a free day in Mandalay.

DAY 4 | MYANMAR | MANDALAY DISCOVERY | BREAKFAST ; LUNCH

 

Today you will walk around Mandalay and visit Mahamuni Pagoda ; Kyauktawgyi Pagoda, a large Buddha image carved out of a single block of marble ; Shwenandaw Monastery (Golden Palace) noted for its exquisite wood carving ; Kuthodaw Pagoda known for its stone slabs of Buddhist scriptures. At the end of the day, your guide will take you to Mandalay Palace to enjoy the sunset from Mandalay Hill.

DAY 5 | THAILAND |       ARRIVAL IN BANGKOK | BREAKFAST

 

After your hotel check-out, you will be transferred to Mandalay Airport and fly to Bangkok. Upon arrival at Bangkok International Airport, you will be welcomed by our guide and then driven to your hotel for check in. In the rest of the day you can relax and discover Thailand lifestyle.

DAY 6 | THAILAND | BANGKOK EXPLORATION | BREAKFAST ; LUNCH

 

After your breakfast, you will enjoy a day tour of the buzzing Bangkok. To start on morning, your guide will firstly take you to the most famous landmark in Bangkok, the Grand Palace, in the heart of the metropole. Then, you will continue your journey to Dusit Palace, compound of many gardens and residences which was the primary place of residence of Thailand Kings. Just before lunch, you will go to visit the impressive Emerald Buddha Temple, Wat Phra Kaew, a must-see of Bangkok. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a trip by local long boat along the bustling Chao Phraya River and quiet canals where exotic products of all kinds are sold. You will navigate your way through a floating market to reach Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn).

DAY 7 | THAILAND | AYUTTHAYA DAY TRIP | BREAKFAST ; LUNCH

After your breakfast, your guide will take you to Ayutthaya. Your first stop will be Bang Pa In, the former summer residence of the kings of Ayutthaya built in the 18th century. There you will visit the Royal Palace, the Thai Pavilion, and the Chinese-style Palace Vihat Chamrun with its trimmed bushes in elephant shapes. Then you will continue to Ayutthaya, which used to be the capital of Siam from 1350 to 1767. You will have a good lunch at local restaurant before visiting the most interesting temples of Wat Yai Chaimongkol, Wat Phrasisanpeth and Wat Phranuncheang. After that, you will go back to Bangkok in the evening.

DAY 8 | THAILAND |       FREE DAY IN BANGKOK AND FLIGHT TO KOH SAMUI | BREAKFAST

 

Today is a free day for you. I will be able to enjoy Bangkok at your own leisure and find souvenirs. In the evening, you will be transferred to the airport for your evening flight to Ko Samui.

DAY 9 | THAILAND | FREE DAY IN KOH SAMUI | BREAKFAST

 

Ko Samui, Thailand’s second most popular island is located in the Gulf of Thailand roughly 700km. This island gem lies on the lush tropical forest, fringed with palm tree lined stretches of golden sand, and surrounded by pellucid, aquamarine water. Today, you can enjoy the Ko Samui beach life and relax in your hotel.

DAY 10 | THAILAND | ANGTHONG MARINE PARK & KAYAKING | BREAKFAST ; LUNCH

 

Mo Kong Angthong National Park consists of 42 islands. The park was established as Marine National Park on 12th November 1980. This protected environment creates a safe habitat for many mammals, reptiles and birds. It covers a total area of 102 sq. km. The National Park does not encompass the entire island chain, its jurisdiction covers about 82% of the total area. The park is located in the Gulf of Thailand between the mainland and the islands of Ko Samui and Ko Phangan. This group of islands, 250 sq. km is located 45km north-west from Ko Samui. It takes about 2 hours by tour boat and 1 hour by speedboat or by yacht. Visitors will be enchanting wonderland composed of bulbous green isles, clear blue lagoons, mysterious caves and strange shapes of rock formations. You will be transfer to the pier to take a speedboat to the national park and will arrive to Ko Wao or Ko Tai Plow for snorkeling and kayaking, a nice place for fish and wonderful coral reefs. Then, you will do sightseeing around the National Marine Park. You will climb up the steps to see the wonderful “Emerald Lake” known as Talay Nai, surrounded by the mountain.

DAY 11 | THAILAND | FREE DAY IN KOH SAMUI | BREAKFAST

 

For your last full day in Thailand, you will be able to perfect your tan and enjoy the Ko Samui beach life.

DAY 12 | DEPARTURE FROM KOH SAMUI | BREAKFAST


Enjoy your own free leisure time until it’s time to be transferred to Phuket International Airport for your departure flight. End of the tour.
