DAY 1 | ARRIVAL IN HOI AN | DINNER

 

You’ll be met at the Da Nang Airport and transferred to your hotel in Hoi An. After check-in, you will have some free time to explore Hoi An at your leisure before having a dinner in a restaurant near Japanese Bridge.

DAY 2 | HOI AN EXPLORATION | BREAKFAST ; LUNCH

 

Hoi An was originally one of major trading centers of South East Asia in the 16th century and has rightfully now been designated a UNESCO World Heritage site. Today you will discover its low tiled houses of Chinese heritage, and the brightly painted temples and pagodas that make Hoi An one of Vietnam’s most delightful places. The Japanese covered bridge, the Tan Ky Old house, the Cantonese assembly hall, the market and shops - all this adds up to a town full of history and life.

DAY 3 | MY SON & TRA QUE VILLAGE | BREAKFAST ; LUNCH


After an early breakfast, you will reach My Son to visit the Cham Pa Ruins, a complex of ancient ruins that date back 1700 years. Then on the way back to Hoi An, you will stop to Tra Que Village to discover how local life is organized around these vegetable and fruits gardens. Test your skills by joining a Vietnamese cooking demonstration with our personal friends. After lunch you will have time to relax and enjoy your hotel facilities before an evening stroll in Hoi An center for a little shopping moment.

DAY 4 | CHAM ISLANDS DAY TRIP | BREAKFAST ; LUNCH

 

Today you will reach Cham Island after a 1hr speed boat transfer.  This hidden treasure is not too touristic and provides magnificent snorkeling and sunbath spot. You will enjoy a healthy seafood lunch. At sunset, you will take back a speed boat to reach Hoi An for the night.

DAY 5 | RELAXING TIME & HAI VAN PASS | BREAKFAST ; DINNER

 

You will enjoy a full free day in Hoi An before being transferred to Hue for the night. On the way to Hue, enjoy the breathtaking coastal views and mountain scenery as you drive alongside the South China Sea to Hoi An, crossing the wonderfully photogenic fishing village of Lang Co and the Hai Van Pass (the Pass of the Ocean Clouds), before reaching your hotel.

DAY 6 | HUE EXPLORATION | BREAKFAST ; LUNCH

 

Hue is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Hue remained Vietnam’s capital until 1945 when Bao Dai, the last of the Nguyen emperors, abdicated. Many of Hue’s attractions are found along the banks of the Perfume River that flows through the centre of town. 
This morning, you will explore the elaborate mausoleums of Emperors Tu Duc and Khai Dinh, both extravagant complexes of pavilions, temples, courtyards and lakes. You will then reach the Thien Mu Pagoda, one of Vietnam’s most famous landmarks, with its distinctive seven-storey octagonal tower. Having explored the pagoda and its beautiful grounds you sail back down the Perfume River while observing the local riverside life.
Before sunset, you will finally enjoy a traditional cyclo tour in the city center, discovering all its treasures and its unique ambiance.

DAY 7 | DEPARTURE FROM HUE | BREAKFAST


After breakfast, you will explore the grand Imperial Citadel, the Forbidden Purple city. This royal residence was all but destroyed during the 1968 Tet Offensive; however it’s still fascinating to walk among the ruins. 
Then, you will have free time before a transfer to the Da Nang International airport for your onwards flight. End of the tour.
