DAY 1 | ARRIVAL IN HO CHI MINH CITY | DINNER

 

You will meet your local tour guide at Ho Chi Minh City - still called Saigon by many locals – who will take you to your hotel for your check-in. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

DAY 2 | HO CHI MINH CITY EXPLORATION | BREAKFAST ; LUNCH

 

After a good breakfast, you will head out to explore the vibrancy of Ho Chi Minh City. You will visit the War Remnants Museum, which contains exhibits about the American phase of the Vietnam War. Next you will discover the Reunification Palace, which was the headquarters of the President of South Vietnam and is also known as Independence Palace. Then it’s on to explore the ancient General Post Office with its French colonial architecture and admire the Notre Dame Cathedral under renovation. The final stop is Ben Thanh market, which is always loaded with all manner of good from cakes and candies to fresh food and vegetables.

DAY 3 | MEKONG DELTA | BREAKFAST ; LUNCH ; DINNER


After two hours’ drive, you will arrive in Cai Be port, board your private boat for a journey through the town’s floating market. Experience the vibrancy of river life in the ‘rice basket’ of Southeast Asia. Cruise along narrow waterways with dense overhanging vegetation and try exotic fruits in one of the many orchards. During your cruise, you will enjoy a typical lunch in a local restaurant. After that, you will disembark at Vinh Long pier for a short drive to Can Tho. You will check-in your hotel before enjoying a relaxing time and a good dinner.

DAY 4 | LAST MOMENT IN THE DELTA & BACK TO SAIGON | BREAKFAST ; LUNCH

 

This morning you will board on a small local boat to visit the fascinating floating market at Cai Rang. See local farmers trading their produce on the water as they have done for centuries. An awesome experience, with local people very open and happy to share with visitors. Then, you will enjoy a last meal in the Mekong Delta before returning to Saigon.

DAY 5 | CU CHI TUNNELS | BREAKFAST ; DINNER

 

After a good breakfast, you'll have a half day trip to Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground tunnel network constructed by the Vietnamese resistance fighters during the long struggle for independence. At one time during the Vietnam War, this massive tunnel system stretched all the way from Saigon to the Cambodian frontier. Those who wish can descend into the tunnels and get first-hand experience of the terrible conditions faced by the Vietcong who lived here - a truly thrilling experience. After returning to the hotel you’ll have your own leisure time for personal explorations.

DAY 6 |       DALAT EXPLORATION | BREAKFAST ; LUNCH ; DINNER

 

You will be transferred to Saigon Airport for your early flight to Dalat. Your guide will take you to your hotel for checking-in before enjoying a walking exploration of the city. You will discover the Crazy House, which was built (and still in progress) by a very creative Vietnamese architect. Then, you will enjoy a lunch before taking the local train to Linh Phuoc for 7km, opportunity to have a nice view of Dalat, to visit it pagoda. In the middle of the afternoon, you will go back to your hotel for a relaxing moment before dinner.

DAY 6 | DALAT EXPLORATION | BREAKFAST ; LUNCH ; DINNER

 

Today you’re free to enjoy the French station, buy your last souvenirs or simply take a rest in your hotel.

DAY 8 | DEPARTURE FROM DALAT | BREAKFAST


After check out today, you will be transferred to Dalat Airport for your onward flight. End of the tour.
