DAY 1 | ARRIVAL IN HANOI | DINNER

You’ll be met at the Hanoi Airport and transferred to your hotel in city center. After check-in, you will have some free time to explore Hanoi at your leisure.

DAY 2 | HANOI EXPLORATION | BREAKFAST ; LUNCH

After your breakfast, you will visit Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, his lovely wooden house on stilts and the One Pillar Pagoda. Then you will discover the Temple of Literature; Vietnam’s first university. Your tour continues to the fascinating Museum of Ethnology where you will learn about the culture diversity of Vietnam. After that, you will return to the city center, with a stop at Hoa Lo prison, built by the French to house Vietnamese revolutionaries. Afterwards, you will walk to the Hoan Kiem lake, and enjoy a water puppet show - a unique traditional art.

DAY 3 | PU LUONG NATIONAL PARK VIA DUONG LAM | BREAKFAST ; LUNCH ; DINNER

After an early breakfast, you will be picked up by private car and driven 40 km to Duong Lam village, where you’ll see houses and walls made of natural laterite blocks during the 16th century. You’ll recognize the value and the unique beauty of the village. Then, you will have an early lunch in a local family house. You’ll enjoy green tea and interact with them. Then, you will continue your way to Pu Luong. At your arrival, you will enjoy a walk in the forest and a kayaking introduction in an incredible scenery. You will set up in Pu Luong and enjoy a delicious dinner.

DAY 4 | DAY TRIP TO MAI CHAU VALLEY | BREAKFAST ; LUNCH ; DINNER

After your breakfast, you will take a short ride to Mai Chau Valley. You will settle into a Thai minority stilt-house for the day and go to explore the village with your guide. Then, you will come back the house to enjoy a traditional lunch with your Thai hosts. In the afternoon, you will take a leisure cycling tour through the charming villages. You will have opportunities to learn the lifestyle and tradition of the minority people. You will return to Pu Luong at sunset.

DAY 5 | THE “LAND HALONG BAY” | BREAKFAST ; LUNCH ; DINNER

Today, you will enjoy a ride to Tam Coc. There, you will have a 2 hours cruise on the river. Your camera is a must-have in this magic place. Then, you will go back to the pier and enjoy a lunch before going to discover Bich Dong Pagoda, a little temple hidden in a rocky peak. In the afternoon you will be free to relax at your hotel.

DAY 6 | BACK TO HANOI & DEPARTURE | BREAKFAST

After your breakfast, you will be transferred to Hanoi for the end of your trip. If you wish to extend your travel, you can add a Halong Bay cruise to your itinerary with your travel consultant. End of the tour.
